Rebates

For Private Clients only:

If you’d like to claim a Medicare rebate for your child’s speech therapy session, here’s how it works:

You’ll pay the full session fee upfront, and I’ll provide you with a detailed receipt.

You can then submit this receipt to Medicare, and they’ll reimburse the rebate amount directly into your nominated bank account.

To be eligible for a Medicare rebate, your child will need a current Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan from your GP. This plan covers up to five allied health sessions each year. If you have any questions or need help with the process, I’m here to support you every step of the way!

If you’ve already used up your 5 Medicare-funded allied health sessions for the year, you may still be able to claim reimbursement if your private health insurance covers speech pathology. I recommend reaching out to your health insurance provider to check your level of cover and find out what’s included. If you need any help along the way, feel free to ask!
